Opera Props
What are some prop ideas that you have for our Opera? What are some of the costumes that we should be wearing? How can we decorate the stage?

What I think we could have is a boat with water under the ship so the addience would think we are really in our play. What our costumes could be is the sailer could have a white outfit and a blue tie with white or blue shoes.Then columbus could wear a tux.And the sailers could wear white outfits with blue shoes.The pochakies could wear ripped and reankeld clothes to look like they were there for a long time.Hernan could look tough and mean.
I think that the costumes in our opera should be sailers, Columbus ,Cortez and all the characters in the opera. All of the costumes should look realastic. If our costumes look real everybody will be impressed. We should make the costumes in class before the opera starts. If we make the costumes our parents may be proud of what we have made.
I have many ideas for some props we could use. One of my ideas is we could use a star wars outfit because they look like salier to me. Another idea is we couid draw fake trees,plants,animals and even bushes. My last idea is have a different set for each part of the story/play.
I think we need paper trees with a pole for support for the second scene.We need spanish sailor costumes for the sailors in scene one. For the portuegese we need explorer costumes and a rain forest set.We also need hammers and wood ect. for our characters.Those are the things that I think we need I hope they work!:]
I think the portugeese should have muddy clothes that are not clean. They should have adventure beards and dirty faces.There clothes should be silky and wet.They should have rum in there hands too.They should be looking old and be very mean to everyone.
for props we could use hammers and dirty clothes to look like there working.we could also have boots on the working parts.we could have a big desert as a backround.we should also have big cactus.and hernancortez should have a deep voice.
I think in the begining we can be a little bit like pirates. Hernan Cortes should be rich and covered in jewelry. So should Chistopher Coulumbus. Our back grond could be like if we were in a ocean or on a beach. I think it would be really cool to have it like that.
I thank people in the same group should be wearing the same thing. Because it tells you what that group is. Such as the builders, hunters, sailors and many many more. That gives us a better chance to figure out what to wear
I think we should all wear the same thing but not the Sailors, Portigies, and Heran Cortes. The big group should all wear the same thing. We would have to set up the stage with maybe water on the floor and have us in a boat.
I think there should be awesome costumes for the idians and Portuguies. Also cool back rounds, like water and trees and animals. We should also be wearing masks. we could make all kinds of things.
